Have I not wandered around enough in my life? The desert the only place I find my solitude and peace Where there roam the creatures of kings I confide only in beautiful equines such as these.. (c) equusedi When I write poetry, paint, dream or just go about my daily routine, it is about the horses in my life that have helped me overcome some rough times through my life's journey. Thank you Creator for the gift you gave me to be able to work with and train these beautiful creatures You have created for us to learn from and enjoy. Horsemanship and Sportsmanship comes when training horses and competing at any level. I am their trainer, teacher and companion, and in return they have taught me all that I know. The storms come and go, a new day is here, a new beginning, Horus, Moonie and Fillie, the equines that make my world go round, through Father God they give me strength and hope! The rest of the gaps He will fill. |

DAVETSAUB BANNER A gorgeous 17 hands WB gelding by Dolerit (Imp GER) by Don Carlos (GER). I gentle-broke Banner when he was three and we competed up to level 5. It was one of the hardest decisions of my life to sell him when I relocated to the US. He was not the easiest to train but an incredible jumper! |
DONNA ONDUNO An incredible WB mare by Dolerit (Imp GER) by Don Carlos (GER). Donna was owned by the USDF Equestrian Center and when they invited me to join the facility I was honored to ride Donna, a difficult mare but once again an incredible jumper. Another beautiful offspring of Dolerit by Don Carlos. |
AGA KHAN Aga Khan was a 16.3 tank by Anschluss (GER) by Absatz (GER) our of a Graveur (GER) daughter. A wonderful disposition and equally suited for dressage and jumpers. He was still the "old school" WB, huge bone and built with an incredible jump. Aga competed at level 5 when I retired him to relocate to the US. |

BON AMI Bon Ami or "Bonnie", known by the media as "The little horse with the big heart" was truly one of the most amazing horses I have ever ridden. At only 14.3 she competed at level 8 and took me up to Intermediate in eventing. A truly amazing little TB mare that shaped me and gave me a passion for jumping and encouraged me to dream about achieving the impossible. Bonnie passed away in her sleep at the age of 27 and was buried at Detlev Voigt's farm in Namibia where she retired with Detlev and Erika. Besides my two German Instructors Bonnie has taught me everything about horsemanship and sportsmanship. There is something very unique about the bond between a rider and horse, there is no question about trust! |
WHERE IT ALL STARTED MY BELOVED EQUINES FROM SOUTHWEST AFRICA NAMIBIA |
| I was born and raised in Southwest Africa now known as Namibia. I speak 3 languages, German, Afrikaans and English. I started riding TBs and WBs when I was 12 years old and have competed in Dressage, Eventing and Jumpers throughout my life, now focusing on Jumpers, my passion. I esp. enjoy training youngsters and working with troubled/difficult horses (and riders) - lol. No question about what breed is my favorite! :-) WARMBLUETER UEBER ALLES!! Starting from scratch in the US with my 3 EQUINES Horus, Fillie, Moonie |
